Key skills assessed include maintaining proper lane position, using turn signals, and obeying speed limits. You must demonstrate smooth acceleration and braking, as well as attentive observation of road signs and traffic signals. The examiner observes how you share the road with other vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians. Proper following distance and frequent mirror checks are essential. Success in this section shows you can drive responsibly and react appropriately to changing road conditions.
