MANITOBA TRAFFIC RULES 07
Manitoba law also prohibits the use of handheld electronic devices while driving, including cell phones, to minimize distracted driving risks. Moreover, when approaching a school bus with its lights flashing, drivers must stop at least five meters behind the bus or risk getting a hefty fine. Finally, drivers in Manitoba must understand and adhere to the rules of the road, such as following lane markings, stopping at stop signs or lights, and yielding to pedestrians.
